David’s work encompasses both non-contentious and contentious work with particular emphasis on the employment law aspects of mergers and acquisitions and contracting out, contracts and service agreements, restrictive covenants, redundancies and restructuring, disciplinary and grievance issues, termination of employment and employment law claims.
He acts mainly for employers but also deals with engagement and termination advice for directors and senior executives.
David has specialised in employment law throughout his career. He trained in London and was a partner in one of the UK’s largest national and global law firms for over twenty years, most recently leading its Human Resources department in Leeds.
David is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and was a visiting lecturer on an MBA course at the University of Bradford for three years.
